The fund will be smartly divided into 3 parts: generally 1/3 of the fund will be invested in late stage (Pre-IPO); another 1/3 will be invested in the middle stage companies or co-invest into such cases; the last 1/3 will be invested into early stage startups with AIM’s profound deal sources and screening capability, as well as trendy investment insight, e.g. 3P area

Early stage investment

The fund will research a lot on “Next Big Thing” in technology sector and put venture money into even very small team to cover some big trends in next 3-5 years range. These early stage teams will be carefully selected to manage to ensure big success in the future. All the management team will strongly involved to support every step of growth.

Middle stage investment

The fund will also put a lot of effort and professional team to seek and compare commercialized market players in some interested domains and invest in the potential market leader by judging both their sales/marketing performance and management strategy. The management team will be involved in such companies board activities and take impact on it’s capital path.

Late stage investment

Though there are hot competitions for late stage investment, especially to those pre-IPO cases in China, AIM can benefit from the pre-built relationship and reputation to get a scoop of soup from some important cases that could bring one to several times of return in short term.
